Fakten Visseltofta Folkfest is a timeless collection of very well-produced folk/country songs that go straight to the heart. There are so many people who abuse the genre with arranged, blaring songs that just turn into empty gaga. But... Peter Thisell deals with something else. He takes the americana genre to a new level with desolate guitars and dreamlike soundscapes and makes something very personal and his own out of it.

Peter's voice, melodies and lyrics are anything but flattering. At Visseltofta Folkfest, he sings sincerely and honestly about things that are close to his heart and the singer Beatrice Rosdahl´s voice does that extra thing that makes the songs lift even more. The music wander in the mind through both desolate dusty country roads, empty backyards with one-eyed dogs to sunsets over fog-covered wild summer meadows. Wish that as many people as possible can take part in this music. Peter Thisell's music provides both light and comfort in these troubled times.
